Doug is a Urologist who retired at the rank of COL from the Army in June 2021 after 38 years in uniform (30 on Active Duty).

He attended Wheaton College and then graduated from Northwestern University Medical School. He completed his urology training at Madigan AMC and an Endourology Fellowship at EVMS. He has deployed twice and has held various titles in his career, including Commander, Program Director, Surgeon in Chief, and Army Urology Consultant to the Army Surgeon General.

He’s been married for 34 years and has four adult children.  He loves the outdoors, his rescue dog, a good cup of coffee, and trying to injure himself on a mountain bike. He enjoys retirement, taking full advantage of the local Early Bird Specials and studying advanced Pickleball strategy.
